City Attorney Raquel presented the resolution and read the title and purpose into the record, describing it as a readoption and ratification of prior provisions (Resolution 2013-1466) that explain how the city provides public notice. "I would stand for any questions you may have," the city attorney said after reading the resolution.
Councilor Rogers moved to adopt Resolution 2025-1985; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote with all council members saying "aye."
Mayor Deckett described the action as continuing the city's dedication to transparency and compliance with state law. The resolution reaffirms the city's notice procedures; no substantive changes to the notice policy were discussed at the meeting.
