Town staff explained the approvals are largely procedural steps to accept constructed infrastructure where work preceded formal easement acceptance, and that the easements allow town crews to maintain public utilities and sidewalks. The board and staff discussed why scheduling, prior town-meeting authority and project timing had delayed formal acceptance in some cases.
