The Select Board on Feb. 10 opened and closed a public hearing and approved a new liquor license for Dario’s Concord, a planned Italian restaurant at Concord Crossing. The applicants, represented by Andrew Stroud and Ellen Melendez, told the board the application was complete and the restaurant expects to open late this summer.
Applicants said Dario’s will seat about 180 customers and operate with typical restaurant hours, generally closing by 10 p.m.; they plan to offer lunch service depending on market demand and indicated their menu will feature homemade pasta, grilled seafood and steaks. Police department background checks were reviewed prior to scheduling the hearing, town staff said.
The board opened the hearing, took public comment and moved to close the hearing. After a brief procedural motion, the board voted to approve the new license for Dario’s Concord at Concord Crossing.
