Later in the public meeting the town manager said staff are preparing a response to a letter from the state’s Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAM) regarding the transfer and that the town hopes to draft a reply within a week or two; the manager said the deadline for a related action is Feb. 24.
No substantive public record of the executive-session discussion was read into the public record; the public meeting record notes only that the board met in executive session for the stated negotiation purpose and then returned to open session.
