Concord HDC elects new chair, approves minutes from Aug. 7

Dennis announced he was stepping down as chair and the commission nominated and voted to elect Kate as the new chair. The roll call vote was taken and commissioners present voted in favor. Afterward, Kate assumed the chair and presided over the remainder of the meeting.
The commission also reviewed and approved draft minutes from its Aug. 7 meeting; commissioners noted one minor typo in that earlier draft but voted to accept the minutes. The meeting was conducted online under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts executive order temporarily suspending certain provisions of the state open‑meeting law; the commission reminded the public that members of the public had the opportunity to comment on agenda items during the call.
