Applicant Tim Whitney presented photographs showing the vent's location on the side of the house and described efforts to place it below the main ridge and set back from the eave to reduce public visibility.
Commissioners said the installation appeared minor and appropriate for the location. After no members of the public spoke, a motion to approve the installation "as submitted" passed on a roll call vote with Catherine, Walter, Kristen, Louis Caldarella and the chair voting yes.
The commission's action clears the owners to proceed with the vent installation as shown in the submitted photos and materials.
