The board voted to approve the minutes of Tuesday, April 8. It approved claims totaling $3,056,916.81, consisting of $138,052.73 in check claims and $2,918,864.08 processed by ACH, and approved voided checks totaling $45.01.
The consent agenda was moved, seconded and approved without recorded discussion. The board then approved two proclamations: a proclamation designating April 2025 as National Arab American Heritage Month and a proclamation designating April 30, 2025, as National Therapy Animal Day. The therapy-animal proclamation cited Pet Partners and the role of volunteer therapy-animal teams in hospitals, nursing homes, schools and hospice settings.
