The presentation, made by SPAF CEO Tanya Castroverdi Moskalenko and confirmed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop representatives and foundation development staff, summarized the project’s current concept, projected economic impact, public engagement history and next steps toward schematic design.
SPAF and its consultants described the concept as a cultural anchor within the Bay Park development, citing an updated economic-impact estimate prepared by HR&A that moves the project’s anticipated annual economic activity toward roughly $194 million and projects about 495,000 visitors per year for the larger 2,700‑seat concept included in exhibit materials.
