Johnson County administration staff told supervisors the county will replace its aging agenda software with a new system (Peak) and asked departments to prepare for the change, including user training and updated submission procedures.
"May 21 will be a meeting that we run or populate or create the agenda both in Minitrack and Peak, and then the following week, we're Peak only," the presenter said, outlining the transition schedule. Staff said the last day for submissions to the current MinuteTrack system is Friday, May 9.
Officials said they will provide role-based training, create online resources and confirm which departmental users submit agenda items. Staff also described a second phase to migrate committee agendas and minutes into the new media manager environment so the public can find all meeting materials on a single page. The presenter noted IT bandwidth constraints because of concurrent Workday work but committed to provide training and help with migration.
Supervisors were told to expect outreach from staff to identify who should submit items for each department and were advised that some historical agendas may require manual migration if an automated tool is not available.
The board recorded the implementation timeline and staff commitments; no formal vote was recorded.
