Council members and staff thanked the company for event support that included giveaways and on-site services. The recognition was ceremonial; no formal ordinance or contract change was presented or approved at the meeting.
The acknowledgment followed public-works and regular-agenda items and preceded the council’s consent and new-business votes. The company’s involvement was referenced later in the meeting in remarks about ongoing partnership-building between the town and Florence Copper.
