Staff also noted that federal website-accessibility enforcement timelines for some requirements do not take effect until fiscal year 2027, so the purchase is a proactive measure rather than an urgent compliance step. The council made a motion to table item 7 for further review; the motion passed unanimously.
Council directed staff to investigate alternative vendors and provide further information before returning to the council for final action.
