Board approves routine finance, personnel and procurement items; audit returns clean opinion

The Brunswick Board of Education on April 15 approved a series of routine and project-related items by roll-call vote, including the district—s minutes, financial reports, appropriations changes, grants participation, audit acceptance and multiple contracts and personnel actions.

The board approved the March financial and investment report and appropriation modifications for fiscal year 2025. Treasurer remarks indicated revenues and expenses remain on target and that the district expects final settlement to appear on the April report.

Trustees accepted the fiscal year 2024 financial audit and assigned the board president, vice president, superintendent and treasurer to serve as the district audit committee; the treasurer reported the audit returned an unqualified (clean) opinion.
