City staff updated the Prescott water subcommittee April 1 on the amended 2022 water‑management policy budgets for the period Jan. 1–June 30, 2025.
Staff reported the residential allocation for the period was set at 25 acre‑feet and nonresidential at 25 acre‑feet. Two residential projects were approved administratively during the reporting period; the Bradshaw senior‑living apartments project was approved by council on March 20 and added 5.6 acre‑feet to the residential commitments reported to the subcommittee. Accounting for that approval, staff reported approximately 19.06 acre‑feet of residential allocation remained in the semiannual budget window.
On the nonresidential side, staff reported a single approval in the period — the Embry‑Riddle Student Union facility for 11.33 acre‑feet — leaving about 13.67 acre‑feet remaining in the nonresidential allotment for the semiannual window. Staff also provided a table of projects approved under existing contracts (not removed from the present budgeting window), noting those commitments separately.
This item was informational; subcommittee members had no formal objections and asked staff to continue tracking approvals and to present a more detailed discussion of the ADWR annual report at a future meeting.
