Board updates members on resurfacing, parking and maintenance projects

Director of Facilities Mike Wertbrood reported the pickleball courts at Mountain View are being resurfaced and said work had already begun: "Yes, sir. Work's already underway. They've been working on it for a week. 1 more week, we should have the courts," he told the meeting. The board also said bids have been received for work at the North Course and that Riverview maintenance planning is under way with design bids being evaluated.
Willow Creek Golf parking improvements were described as scheduled for the coming summer, and members asked about tennis courts at Mountain View and Lakeview; the board said Mountain View tennis work had bids out and was under consideration, while Lakeview courts would require more funding than currently available. An automatic handicap door at Sundial was reported resolved: a member asked whether a handicapped door could be added and management later reported it "is done."
Members also raised concerns about Dufferland Dog Park maintenance and olive-tree health; a member said the park’s allocated five hours per month for maintenance appeared insufficient. The board did not commit to increasing volunteer maintenance hours during the Exchange but noted facility requests would be processed through management and relevant committees.
No formal project approvals or budget allocations were taken at the Exchange; board members described the current status of bids and contractor coordination and said projects will proceed through facilities and long-range planning steps.
