Museum to open Indigenous Identities exhibition Feb. 1; educator program and K–12 resources planned

Organizers announced that a major exhibition titled Indigenous Identities Here Now and Always will open Feb. 1 and remain on view through December 2025.
Claire (museum representative) said the exhibition features more than 90 artists representing over 54 tribes and will include an opening reception that is free and open to the public. Claire said the museum will host an educator program on Feb. 13 in the early evening; participating teachers can earn three professional credit hours and the museum will distribute a learning guide to support K–12 use of the exhibition.
Claire invited teachers and school administrators to arrange tours and said the museum will keep the exhibition on view for a year to encourage classroom and community engagement. No budget figures, loan agreements or formal sponsorships were announced during the meeting.
