VFW asks Phoenix for $350,000 a year to fund veteran-service officers

We're asking the city of Phoenix to give us money so that we can provide as veteran service officer for for our veterans, 6 of them in total, with a budget of $350,000 every year,” Joseph Door said. Door said the VFW has served veterans and their families in Phoenix since 1921 and asked the city to step up funding to help veterans obtain benefits.
