Prescott Valley council approves zoning change, grocery plan, department split and auditorium AV upgrade

The vote passed with one dissenting vote: Council member Williams recorded a “no” on the funding motion; the motion carried.

Resolution to divide Community Services (resolution number as recorded in the packet): Council authorized the mayor to sign the resolution separating the former Community Services Department into two departments for Parks and Recreation and the Public Library. Council stated that the move reflects distinct operational needs and will not add staff positions.
