Supervisor Seymour says county working to get Narcan in classrooms; White Mountain Wildfire Expo announced

Supervisor Seymour told the Navajo County Board of Supervisors that he met with the county superintendent and that the county is working to make Narcan available in classrooms.
"Found out that they didn't have Narcan in their school, and so we're working very hard to get Narcan in all of the classrooms and some of the things there to to make that a little safer," Seymour said.
Seymour framed the effort as part of broader safety work with the school district; he said he and district leaders have discussed steps to secure Narcan for classrooms but did not provide a timetable or funding source during the meeting. He also offered remarks of a personal/religious nature tied to the Easter holiday.
Separately, the vice chairwoman reminded attendees of the White Mountain Wildfire Preparedness Expo scheduled for March 29 and thanked Supervisor Weisinger for leadership on fire-season outreach. "We have the White Mountain Wildfire, Preparedness Expo on March 29," the vice chairwoman said; the meeting record did not list event location or additional logistical details.
No members of the public signed up to speak during the call to the public. The board adjourned after the scheduled items.
