The Westmoreland County board reconvened from a closed session and voted to certify that no matters were discussed beyond those listed in the closed-session notice, then voted to adjourn.
The certification motion — read aloud near the end of the meeting — stated that "nothing was discussed other than those items identified in the call for the closed session and that no action was taken." A roll-call style confirmation that followed recorded votes in favor from Mister McCormick, Henson, Mister Trivette, Zingram and the chair.
The chair closed the meeting with thanks to county staff and the county administrator, Miss Cardswell. The chair said staff had "been doing a fantastic job" and noted regular communication with the county administrator and supervisors while preparing the budget presentation. The chair also mentioned a possible future project, referring to a "$25,000,000 social services building," noting the idea was on the horizon and that an old school building could be repurposed but did not propose formal action.
After the certification motion carried, a motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved. The chair declared, "We stand adjourned."
