HR recommends Red Rover time-and-attendance software; board review scheduled next meeting

Danielle Adamczak, HR director, told trustees the district evaluated two platforms — Red Rover (recommended) and TimeClock Plus (TCP) — and selected Red Rover for its integration with the district’s existing eFinance Plus software and its built-in attendance features. Payroll staff (Emery Kanager) participated in the evaluation.
Adamczak described the current workflow as highly manual: physical timesheets routed to supervisors, manual spreadsheet entry, and manual input into the district finance system. Red Rover would provide mobile and Chromebook-compatible sign-in options, PTO balance visibility, an attendance module and interfaces to eFinance Plus.
Costs and timeline: staff reported an implementation-year cost of $17,002.50 and an annual subscription of $11,250; subsequent-year renewals would increase by 3% or CPI, whichever is less. Staff said deploying the system requires board approval at the next meeting, with testing and configuration planned for June–July and district-wide rollout in August for the new school year. They also said eliminating the current Frontline contract would yield approximately $6,000 in annual savings.
The budget committee recommended Red Rover at its April meeting and the board will consider formal approval at the next regular meeting.
