Sheridan County commissioners approve multiple liquor-license renewals, table one pending deadline

The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners on April 15 held public hearings on several 2025–26 liquor-license renewals, approved three renewals and tabled one while staff attempted to reach the applicant.
During the public hearing for restaurant liquor licenses, the board called for Frank and Kirsten Maestri but they were not present. Megan Mentzner, owner of NOLA Catering and Private Dining, told the board her application was accurate and that there were no changes. "It is accurate and there are no changes," Mentzner said.
Because of a statutory deadline for renewals in April, the board discussed whether to hold a special or staff meeting if an applicant could not appear before the board. County staff (Clint) told the board: "There's a statutory deadline. They must be in this case... Renewals must be done by the April." The board decided to table the application for Bighorn Merc Pizza LLC DBA Bighorn Mercantile to allow the applicant time to appear at a staff meeting or a special meeting before the statutory deadline. The motion to table passed on a voice vote.
The board then approved the 2025–26 restaurant liquor license renewal for NOLA Sheridan LLC DBA NOLA Catering and Private Dining, effective June 1, 2025; the motion carried on a voice vote.
In a subsequent public hearing on retail liquor-license renewals, Jared Severson confirmed Arrowhead Lodge LLC's application was accurate, and Drew Larson, representing Patrick L. Green, said My Buddy's Place's application was accurate. The board approved the retail liquor license renewals for Arrowhead Lodge LLC DBA Arrowhead Lodge and Patrick L. Green DBA My Buddy's Place, effective June 1, 2025, and authorized the chairman to sign.
