Logan County Fiscal Court authorized staff to apply for House Bill 1 funds and set a proposed allocation plan for the county’s anticipated $3 million appropriation. The court instructed staff to complete the application and included a memorandum of intent that would allocate $100,000 to each incorporated city upon submission of qualifying projects and invoicing; the court proposed the remaining approximately $2.6 million be reserved for county land purchase and development projects.
A motion to proceed with the House Bill 1 application and allocation plan was made and seconded; members voted in favor. Staff were directed to prepare the application and related documentation. The court’s motion records that funds to the cities would be contingent on each city providing a project and the required invoicing to document expenditures.
