Commissioners discussed distribution: QR-code cards will be placed in public locations and paper copies will be available at the county clerk’s office and listed drop-off locations. The parks commission emphasized that public participation contributes to points when applying for DNR grant funding.
Separately, Commissioner Williams reported exploring a municipal customer-relationship platform called GoGov that offers online permitting, licensing and citizen notifications. She said she scheduled a demo for county IT stakeholders to assess whether Delta County could adopt the platform and whether townships might piggyback onto a county subscription.
Context The initial survey is the first phase of public engagement for the five‑year recreation plan. Following the public-input phase the Parks Commission will use results to plan in‑person sessions and more detailed surveys.
