School committee accepts $13,197.25 in Wilmington Educational Foundation grants

Committee members commended WEF's grant review process and the district staff who prepared applications. "We are truly blessed with this group and what the support they provide to our teachers," a committee member said during discussion. Administrators added that 16 staff members were involved in applying for the grants and thanked the foundation for supporting events such as the upcoming STEM fair.
The committee did not discuss line-by-line uses in the meeting; a list of recipients and intended uses was included in the meeting packet.
