Saratoga County Board approves package of resolutions, appoints Mariah Bull Ball to Youth Advisory Board

On March 18, 2025, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors approved a package of resolutions introduced by multiple standing committees, and the board chair made a chairman’s appointment to the Saratoga County Youth Advisory Board.

The clerk read resolutions 56 through 85 aloud; they covered airport lease and easement matters, proclamations (Donate Life Month, Youth Month, Poison Prevention Week, National Crime Victims Rights Week), county agreements for health and senior services, multiple public-works and transportation projects including federal-aid acceptance for county road and bridge projects, amendments to professional services agreements, public-safety items including a communications tower agreement and hazardous materials vehicle change orders, trails and open-space items, timber-harvest agreements, real property tax corrections, and law-and-finance items such as an agreement with the Saratoga County Foundation for Belmont on Broadway activities.

Supervisor Grasso moved to approve all resolutions en masse, and Supervisor Butler seconded the motion. During the roll call vote several supervisors recorded “yes.” The motion carried. The board also received and filed email correspondence from Laura Romney of the American Kratom Association advocating kratom and accepted resignation letters from Joseph Spofford (Saratoga County Fire Advisory Board) and Jennifer Amidon (Saratoga County Youth Advisory Board).

Under unfinished business the chair made a chairman’s appointment: Mariah Bull Ball was appointed to the Saratoga County Youth Advisory Board at the request of the town of Northumberland. No public speakers had signed up for comment, and the meeting adjourned.
