Select Board members praised Reynolds's local relationships and his role in expanding seasonal program participation; staff said participation rose roughly 25% to 29% in programs Reynolds oversaw during the past two years, and highlighted his role in lifeguard recruitment that added 13 lifeguards.
Reynolds was welcomed and will assume the director role following the 15-day notification period under the town charter.
