Brad Holmes of Environmental Consulting & Restoration presented the continued notice of intent on behalf of property owners Brian and Patricia Clifford. Holmes said the revised plan removes a hot tub and a patio that were sited inside the 50‑foot buffer to the bordering vegetated wetland, relocates the patio outside the 50‑foot buffer into the outer buffer, and proposes a roughly 10‑by‑10 pad for a relocated hot tub outside the inner buffer. Holmes said the plan proposes approximately 1,350 square feet of mitigation planting to revegetate disturbed areas within the 50‑foot buffer and immediately beyond it, and a hot‑tub drywell to capture any discharge.
Conservation staff confirmed coordination on plant spacing and species placement; staff member Brittney (first name recorded) asked for tighter spacing of lowbush blueberry plantings under a deck, which the applicant incorporated. No members of the public provided substantive comment; the commission asked for any remaining minor clarifications and then moved to approve the project with special conditions.
