Select Board members asked logistical questions about restroom access (McIntyre said a bathroom in the farmhouse will be available), sample packaging (Select Board member Liz Argo asked organizers to eliminate single‑use plastic containers in anticipation of the town’s forthcoming plastics ban), and vendor count (organizers estimated up to 20 vendors in the pilot year, including community sustainability groups such as master gardeners and beekeepers).
After brief public questions about vendor numbers, a board member moved to accept the planning as presented with the organizers’ proposed edits; another member seconded. The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote. The board and organizers said they would refine guidelines and permitting language as needed before the market opens.
