South Lyon Area Youth Assistance thanks city, seeks volunteers and donations

She described summer enrichment that culminates in a play, a youth recognition program in May that includes a breakfast and awards for volunteers, and a toiletry closet and scholarships run by the organization.
Ziegler said she would leave brochures and asked residents to consider volunteering or donating; councilmembers acknowledged the group's work and thanked the speaker.
