The student report listed prior staff and student participants who helped guide the process.
Board discussion referenced the building’s future uses beyond office space; one director said the name Educational Leadership Center better reflected planned professional development, teacher leadership meetings and planning committees. After a motion to approve both names was made and seconded, directors voted by voice; the chair called for those in favor and recorded the motion as carried.
The board also thanked the student committee for its outreach and research and noted that the recommended names will be used in district communications and signage going forward.
