West Albany 'Swarm' robotics team qualifies for FIRST World Championship; seeks local fundraising help

Mentors told the board the team competes at a high level despite a much smaller budget than some competing programs and thanked the district and community for prior support. Board members and several attendees praised the team and asked how to make contributions. Students directed supporters to contact team mentors and the high school robotics mentors at West Albany (the team practices at West Albany High School) for details on where to deliver checks or donations.
