Board approves package of salary increases, stipends and staffing changes; several items unanimous

At the March 24 meeting the Oldham County Board of Education approved a package of employee engagement and staffing actions (items C1–C16 and D), covering teacher work days, salary schedule adjustments, stipends and staffing changes.

The board voted on a group of items presented in the board packet. Most motions passed unanimously (5–0). Two items were approved 4–1: stipends for FA, CAB and PBS (C12) and the enrichment center tuition rates (D). Members asked staff to embed plans and results in school reports so the board can monitor use of newly authorized funds.
