The Pleasant Valley Community School District board on March 24 approved routine business motions including the consent agenda, multiple fund warrants and the February monthly financial report.
The consent agenda was approved by motion and voice vote. The board also authorized warrants in the following funds as presented in the meeting packet: general fund $684,014.38; nutrition fund $186,037.17; elementary/junior high activity fund $3,606.00; high school activity fund $41,651.13; management fund $21,726.28; capital projects fund $1,185,773.92; physical plant and equipment levy fund $847,510.94; student construction fund $522.66; internal service fund $605,856.52; and trust fund $984.07. Each fund motion was moved, seconded and approved by the board.
The board also accepted the February monthly financial reports as presented. No objections or substantive questions were recorded on the financial report for February.
These routine approvals allow district staff to pay posted invoices and continue capital and operating work; board members asked one clarifying question about an apparent invoice typo that read “airplace insurance,” which staff confirmed was a typographical error and referred to “airplane insurance.”
