FATE, Texas — Park planners presented three concept designs on April 14 for an updated Fate Station Park that would reconfigure the food-truck area, add a container-style plaza and stage, improve pedestrian and trail connections and expand parking options.
Spencer Freeman, representing Park Hill, told the joint meeting of the City Council, the Fate Municipal Development District No. 1 and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board that the designs drew on stakeholder feedback and city staff direction to maintain a park-like feel while creating a year-round civic plaza and performance area.
