Board President Rudy formally welcomed DePasco and thanked staff and board members for their service during the recruitment process. Rudy said he would remain available to assist DePasco with financial reports and transitional matters over the coming month. DePasco told the board he was “very excited to get started” and said he sees “a lot of potential in Santa Fe.”
Members praised the selection and thanked the interim staff — including Rudy — for filling the role while the search concluded. The introduction occurred near the start of the meeting under the reports section; no formal vote was recorded on the appointment at the meeting.
DePasco did not give a start date at the meeting; board members said financing and budget details would be part of the transition and that staff would assist with reports and financial handover.
