The board confirmed start times for pictures at 9 a.m. and discussed logistics: securing police officers for event safety, making and staking signs (printing was not in the board’s budget), borrowing a bench from a local business (Honeybee) for photo backdrops, and acquiring mallets and stakes for sign installation. Members said historically they retain 400 reserve eggs for children who miss out during the hunt but decided to hold back 200 for this year and promised to fill eggs and prize bags before the event.
Volunteers were confirmed for setup, decorating and staffing. Board members asked staff to secure the bench from Honeybee the morning of April 5 and to print or handmake signage. They also discussed basic pest maintenance for play areas (ants on playground) and asked staff to address it before the event.
