The Santa Fe Economic Development Corporation voted on March 25 to allocate up to $500 in EDC funds to support a Small Business Development Center event at City Hall scheduled for April 24.
Board member Pam described last year’s joint SBDC-Chamber event on artificial intelligence and marketing as well attended (about 40 participants) and asked the board to continue support this year; an instructor from the SBDC will provide the session and the Chamber will co-promote. A motion to allot no more than $500 for refreshments, printing and promotion carried on a roll-call vote.
Votes at a glance: the roll call recorded in the meeting transcript lists seven affirmative votes and no negatives; the motion was recorded as passing.
Ending: Board members said the event would be a good opportunity to introduce the incoming EDC director and to raise awareness of the EDC’s services among local businesses.
