Warren County’s Disability Committee voted March 25 to award a preventive-maintenance contract for the county’s generators to Guaranty Generator Services, a county staff member said.
The contract is structured as a one-year agreement with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods. County staff described the work as routine preventive maintenance—typically one or two annual visits to run and test generators at the county center and other county facilities—but the agenda packet did not include dollar amounts. Staff said they will circulate the bid tab and the contract cap sheet to the committee after the meeting.
County staff said Guaranty was the low bidder on the procurement. The motion to bring the item to the floor was made by Supervisor Sprow and seconded by Supervisor Etue; the committee approved the motion by voice vote.
No specific hourly rates or total contract value were included in the materials presented at the meeting. A staff member repeated that the bid tab would be shared after the meeting so the committee could see the price breakdown.
The award covers routine maintenance, including exercising generators and verifying operations; staff said the vendor typically conducts one to two service visits per year.
