Staff noted that city water was available with an extension at the applicant’s expense and that sewer is not available, though the City of Leesburg indicated it would work with the applicant on any needed waivers.
Why it matters: The rezoning aligns the parcel with adjacent commercial and planned-commercial zoning and puts future site plans through standard site-plan review for setbacks, parking and landscaping. Lake County Fire Station property lies about 0.21 miles away.
