Dubuque City Council approves three consent items in unanimous vote

City Clerk Adrienne Breitfelder called the roll after the motion and recorded unanimous approval: Mayor Cavanagh, Councilmembers Farber, Jones, Resnick, Roussell, Sprank and Wethal all voted “Aye.”
The council convened the special session by direction of the mayor’s notice; the meeting notice specified the session’s purpose as "conducting such business that may properly come before the city council." No members of the public pulled items for discussion when the mayor asked; the consent motion proceeded without public comment.
The approval completes the council’s initial business at the special session and cleared the way for the scheduled FY2026 departmental budget presentations that followed.
