The Planning & Zoning Commission approved a site plan amendment April 8 allowing a new 2,899-square-foot banking facility in the CP Plan Commercial District at 2300 Logan Avenue, at the northeast corner of Logan Avenue (U.S. Highway 63) and Heath Street.
Staff reported the site plan complies with the future land-use map and zoning, includes required parking and drive‑through lane dimensions, and addresses drainage and sidewalk requirements. Engineering noted a sidewalk is required on Heath Street per a deed; staff reported that the required trail along Logan Avenue has been installed. The staff recommendation was approval subject to the final site plan meeting applicable city codes and regulations.
The commission approved the plan; the record shows one commissioner abstained from voting on the item because of a conflict of interest. The motion carried with the standard final-site-plan condition.
