A board member asked whether the district had taken similar trips in prior years and was told the regional location differs from past trips (the team has typically attended Duluth). School staff said they were traveling with two other Minnesota teams.
The board voted unanimously to approve the trip. Board members and the superintendent praised students’ efforts and wished the team well.
