Crook County commissioners approve updated PacificSource provider agreement with April effective date

Crook County commissioners on Wednesday approved an amended 2025 participating provider agreement with PacificSource that moves the agreement's effective date from Jan. 1 to April 1, 2025.
County staff said the amended document arrived after the county's initial approval in late March; Richard Levin reviewed the new version and noted the only change was the effective date. A commissioner moved to approve the updated amendment, a second was offered and the board voted in favor with commissioners saying "aye."
The agreement is a participating provider contract between Crook County and PacificSource Community Solutions. County staff told the board the revised effective date was the only substantive change since the county's earlier approval. The board's action was recorded as an approval of the 2025 amendment.
The commissioners did not expand on implementation steps or budget impacts during the discussion. The county will retain the agreement as the governing contract language between the county and PacificSource for 2025 going forward.
