Lisa Griffin, director of government affairs for the Ohio Department of Health, told the board the agency moved into portions of the 246 Building in February 2024 and is now evaluating near-entrance space "either for meeting room space for our employees or also for the public to come in for stakeholder meetings." Griffin said her understanding is the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) requires a feasibility study for the planned renovation and that OFCC staff could discuss their process in more detail.
Representative Stewart asked whether the building is state-owned or leased; Griffin said she believed the building is state-owned but that she would confirm and follow up.
