Mississippi DOE outlines four-part MECA portal, new educator talent tool and free teacher conference

The MECA system will ultimately include four portals, Murphy said. The first — the educator licensure, misconduct and educator preparation portal — launched Jan. 17, 2023. The second, a professional growth system, is already available to local districts for required end‑of‑year standard 3 reporting and for other optional features at no cost.
