Rye Brook coordinates with dozens of municipalities to join Con Edison rate-case effort

The village expects that, with more participants, the per-municipality cost for legal and consulting support will decline; he said the cost estimate had been roughly $100,000 divided among participating communities when the minimum threshold was 20 municipalities.

Trustees praised the outreach and the municipal coordination; the administrator said nearly all invited municipalities were participating or expected to do so and that only one municipality had declined so far.
No board vote was required for the administrator's report; the item was discussed as part of the administration update and will proceed through each municipality's separate resolution process.
