The Village Board on Feb. 25 waived the filming‑hours restriction in the village code to allow a television production to film at 800 Westchester Avenue with extended hours.
The applicant — identified in the resolution as a twentieth television beauty television show production — applied for interior and exterior filming on Monday, March 10 from 9:30 a.m. to midnight, with a rain date of Wednesday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to midnight. The board noted the property is private and not adjacent to residential properties and found the impact on residents would be minimal.
The clerk was authorized to sign documents necessary to implement the waiver. Trustees voted by roll call to grant the temporary exception to the filming code; Trustee Fisher, Trustee Heizer, Trustee Merlino and Mayor Klein recorded “yes” votes.
