Paul Kreider, a resident, told trustees that New York State had released several funding streams tied to climate resilience, dam and green-infrastructure projects and urged the village to be ready to apply; staff said the village would consider applying if the project scope aligned and that Gomez & Sullivan's models would inform any grant application. A specific grant portal deadline mentioned in public comment was June 6 for certain resilience grants.
Trustees agreed to coordinate with Ben (staff) to schedule the consultant for a board work session in late April or in the first May meeting so the village can review the models and assess eligibility for grant programs.
