Euclid City Council on Feb. 18 voted to advance a use-district exception requested by Euclid Indian Hills LLC that would permit operation of a medical clinic in a residential structure at 1541 East 190th Street (permanent parcel 6462100215) within a U3 multiple-family residential district.
Administration described the proposed clinic as a reestablishment of a prior medical use occupying the space for roughly 40 years, most recently a dentist, and said the space has been vacant for more than a year. The application requests a use-district exception under Chapter 1375.01(a)(3) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Euclid to allow a medical clinic in the U3 district.
Council voted to set the matter for a third reading; the administration and applicant indicated the item requires three readings before final action. No final vote on the exception was taken at the Feb. 18 meeting.
Council members offered no substantive objections during the Feb. 18 discussion and moved to close debate and advance the resolution to its third reading for further consideration.
