Berea City Council on April 7 voted to refer Ordinance 4-1, a request from DeGeronimo Development (an affiliate of Bridal Mixed Use Project LLC) to rezone a downtown parcel as Planned Unit Development District 46 (Bria Stage 2), to the city’s Planning Commission for public review and recommendation.
The referral starts the next step of the PUD process; the council’s motion to send the proposal to the Planning Commission was made by Mr. Dosher and seconded by Mr. Zacharias and carried on recorded voice votes. Notices will be mailed to property owners within 200 feet; the Planning Commission is scheduled to hold the first public hearing on May 1 at 7 p.m. in the council chamber.
